QA automation engineers design automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically. This includes determining the priority for test scenarios and creating execution plans to implement these scenarios. Designing documentation for automated processes.

Design and execute test plans and test cases for database applications.
Perform functional, performance, and regression testing on various databases.
Identify, document, and report defects and issues found during testing.
Work with development and database administration teams to resolve issues.
Develop and maintain automated scripts for database testing.
Ensure data integrity and consistency across various database systems.
Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for optimization.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather testing requirements and objectives.

Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mon & Tues) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA ONLY (Within 50-mile radius). **Subject to change per the hiring team**

	8	Required	Proven ability to work successfully with technical and non-technical groups and manage multiple responsibilities
	2	Preferred	Experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates
	2	Preferred	Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies
	2	Preferred	Familiarity with the existing and planned software technology and the global, regional and local software architecture and infrastructure components
